Fair lending continues to be a focus for NCUA and the CFPB so it’s important for credit unions to understand the requirements and expectations related to fair lending.  

This session covers the regulations that deal with fair lending – Regulation B, Regulation C, and the Fair Housing Act – as well as “best practices” highlighted in guidance from the federal regulatory agencies.

Meet the presenter

Kristen works in the Compliance service division of CU Service Network and assists credit unions with issues ranging from advertising rules to bylaws, from Social Media compliance matters to Regulation Z, and just about every regulation and compliance concern in between. She has earned Compliance and Bank Secrecy Act certifications from the two national credit union trade associations. Kristen earned BA and MA degrees in Rhetoric and Communication Studies from the University of Virginia (UVA) in beautiful Charlottesville, VA.

CUNA, NAFCU, and many state Leagues around the country rely on Kristen for compliance training.
