Program Description

Board work for credit union directors needs to continue to adapt as the environment continues to change quickly in our industry. We deal with a world now often described as VUCA for volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. In order to do that, boards must be willing to learn and adapt along the way. This includes the thinking about how we govern. And board governance is a philosophy and a theory with no single correct “answer” or template. In this webinar we will explore several different governance models applicable to the financial services, and nonprofit arena that can help credit union directors to tailor their boards governance philosophy in ways that are specific to the needs of your board, credit union, demographics and region.
